A military cargo plane, flying over a densely populated area,
suddenly lost power and started to nose down. The pilot tried to
pull up, but with all their cargo, the plane was too heavy. Thus
, he ordered the soldiers to throw things out to make the plane
lighter. They threw out a pistol. " Throw out more!" shouted the
pilot. So they threw out a rifle. " More!" he cried again. They
heaved out a missile, and the pilot regained the control of the
plane at last.
He pulled out of the dive and landed safely at an airport. They
got into a jeep and drove off. Pretty soon they met a boy on the
side of the road who was crying. They asked him why he was crying
and he said " A pistol hit me on the head!"
They drove on and met another boy who was crying even harder.
Again they asked why and the boy said, "A rifle hit me on the
head!"
They apologized and kept driving. They met a boy on the sidewalk
who was laughing hysterically. They asked him, " Kid, what's so
funny?" The boy replied, " I sneezed and a house blew up!"
