Personally, I, concurring with Claire, incline toward the opinion that the internet is more helpful
since information online is comprehensive. The reason is that the number of
the internet users is enormous, and thus, it is possible that people are able to
find information about basically every product, such as sneakers in special edition,
niche electronic devices, imported make-up even something
designed for people with special needs, hearing aids for people with hearing difficulty,
textbooks for children with learning difficulty, to name a few.
In this case, people find it much easier to get information as much as possible
and have a deeper understanding of those goods.
Compared with that, friends and family members may never use
or even hear about the product that people want to know.
Therefore, it is less likely that they are competent to offer assistance.
For instance, when people want to know something about the latest technological products,
they find it impossible to learn those products from people nearby
who are not interested in this field. In conclusion, finding information online permits
people to make informed decisions.
