According to reports, Typhoon Gemei, the third typhoon of this year, made landfall along the coast
of Xiuyu District, Putian City, Fujian Province around 19:50 on July 25th. At the time of
landfall, the maximum wind force near the center was 12 levels (33 meters per second, typhoon
level). This is the second landfall of Typhoon "Gemei" on the same day, as it had already made
landfall along the coast of Nan'ao Township, Yilan County, Taiwan in the early morning of the
25th. For the safety of the masses, before the typhoon arrived, the Ministry of Emergency
Management of China had deployed 4543
engineering rescue forces, 1604 sets of equipment, and 8 helicopters for aviation rescue in key
areas such as Zhejiang and Fujian. As of 7:00 am on the 25th, a total of 85400 cadres have been
relocated and 156800 people have been transferred from Fujian Province; 73 passenger ferry routes
along the coast have been suspended and 97 flights have been cancelled. As an ordinary person, I
