Nowadays, it is increasingly acknowledged that
the phenomenon of large shopping malls replacing small shops
is playing a more and more important role in our life.
While some people believe that this change can have beneficial effects on people live,
others oppose that it may influence harmfully for the public.
As far as I am concerned,
large shopping malls taking the place of small shops
will be more advantageous in respect of this issue,
which can be supported by the reasons as follows.
It is evidently reasonable for me to believe that large shopping malls have more benefits,
which is obvious because large shopping malls can accommodate more different goods.
There are lots of goods can be displayed in a multi-complex building
so that the customer can have a one-stop shopping experience.
To further support the above reason,
I can buy the daily necessities and ingredients at the same time at a large shopping mall
without having to go to different small stores several times.
Moreover, the second reason for this argument is that
people can have a better chance of buying cost-effective goods,
which is reasonable because people have more choices for the same products
with different brands in large shopping malls.
In a large shopping mall, consumers can compare prices and features,
and purchase the most satisfying products.
This can be established by a recent study by Oxford University which stated that
78% of people have better purchasing experience in large shopping centers than in other small shops.
In a nutshell, while this controversial topic never fails to attract public attention,
we may safely reach the conclusion that
there are lots of benefits to the large shopping malls taking place of small shops.
