Nowadays, due to fierce competition in society, people attach greater importance to
hunting a decent job, thus realizing their value and dream. Some people claim that a
secure job is the preferred option, as it brings a sense of security to them. However,
my view is that a job with high salaries and high risks of loss contributes more to one’s
development in the future.
To start with, high salaries are beneficial for people to improve their life quality.
For those people who have higher pay, they can purchase things that they like so as to
fulfill their requirement. Cars are a good point in this case. It is widely acknowledged that
an increasing number of rich people prefer to buy a car, which is a convenient way to travel.
When they feel exhausted and stressful, they drive their cars to have a road trip, which enables
them to broaden their horizons and release pressure. After the road trip, they can better focus
on their work and improve their quality of life. What’s more, enough money helps their children
have easier access to advanced education that constitutes a stepping stone to future success.
Besides, their older parents are prone to disease due to poor physical health, so a large amount
of money guarantee some better health care to their parents. As a result, higher salaries play a
significant role in our life by enhancing the quality of life.
In addition, people could obtain a strong sense of achievement through a job with high salaries
but high risks of loss. This is because when people encounter a challenging job, the risks will
urge people to enhance their ability. Accordingly, they spare no efforts to learn more knowledge
and overcome obstacles in order to be qualified for a job. Before long, they will become
outstanding people in their companies by their own efforts. Next, as excellent talents, they can
be approved by leaderships, which means they gain more opportunities from their bosses instead
of losing jobs. They also obtain praise from their coworkers, which is beneficial for them to
expand their networks. Not to mention that customers’ desires are quickly met by those people
owing to their remarkable ability. Therefore, they may receive better positions in their companies.
Consequently, such things not only can secure their jobs but also provide them with a sense of
achievement.
It is true that a secure job means people spend more time with their family rather than finding
jobs. However, if we look at the issue from a different perspective, higher salaries allow their
family to have better living conditions. From what has been discussed above, I draw a
conclusion that it is advisable for people to hunt a high wage with high risks of losing job.
