Leadership id of great importance in today’s society. People of excellent organizing skills and
social abilities are favored by who override their life in a certain stage- teachers in their study
period, employers when they start working, ect and thus gain more opportunities to self-promotion.
Even among peers, people with good leadership seems to be more popular than those who tend to act
the roles o participants. However, leadership is not an intrinsic talent, suggesting that people are
accessible to the popular role by practice.
To begin with, for leadership in independence of personality to some extents, it is possible for
parents and teachers to cultivate their children with the command of the skill ar early age. They
are supposed to place striking emphasis on the traits that contribute to leadership-outgoing,
confident, and a sense of responsibilty. Avoiding th scolding children even when they make
mistakes, encouraging them to the things they have never tried before and cheering them
up when they face obstacles all benefit children to establish a sense of ego/themselves.
Over years, they are very likely to gain self-confidence and they are confident with
themselves, therefore are accustomed to overcoming difficulties rather than escaping.
More importantly, it is plausible that these children tend to exhibit themselves when
others are in need or feel frustration. Gradually, people find these children are reliable
and are reassured that everything will be okay with their presence.
Moreover, the ability of leadership can be learned from others. Examples of successful leaders
are ample around ourselves. In school, it is common to see group leaders who conduct the team
work during class discussion. In workplace, similarly, workers have an easy access to their
managers and directors of a certain department who distribute assignment to every employee.
There is a distinctive feature of the leaders-outstanding academic or working performance.
They are assigned to the leading role, because they manifest remarkable proficiency in
fundamental positions. Group leaders are the students who may get high grades or accomplish
several academic researches. Directors who are promoted from lower positions are familiar
with workers from different positions and interactions among them. As a result, other people
firmly believe that the leaders are capable of solving the problems they are facing in a more
efficient and practical way.
As a matter of fact, people turn down any chances to be a leader simply because they are
reluctant to step out of their comfort zone, but not due they are denied the role
naturally. Being a resourceful leader and gaining kudos from group members are a
rewarding but arduous job, for the responsibility of how the task goes falls on them.
Besides the personal traits, they are obligated to spent time preparing for some accidents
occur. They bear the fruit of success, while take the risk of being blamed in failure.
To conclude, everyone is eligible to be a good leader, as long as they grasp every
opportunity to practice related skills.
